The IISCCIW's Temporary/Interim Organizational Arrangements

(From its founding date to the present--early June 2008; on-going until more permanent agreements/arrangements are finalized)       

As the temporary initial “incubation host” for the International Institute to Study Climate
Change in the Islamic World (IISCCIW) initiated by this writer—namely, Moji Agha, A.K.A.
Mojtaba Aghamohammadi, on January 31, 2007, the Project on Culture and Conflict [PCC,
also founded/directed by this writer, based at the Africana Studies Program, College of
Humanities, the University of Arizona, U.S.] will work with appropriate counterparts within
other reputable universities, in order to facilitate the formal process of organizational
transitioning of the IISCCIW to its more permanent university “founding base—or bases,”
culminating in finalized “general agreement(s) of cooperation and specific working
agreement(s)” for the purpose of bi-lateral and/or multi-lateral (including internationally, as
appropriate) collaboration(s) or partnership(s) with the IISCCIW. 

Presently Interested Persons and Institutions 

Given the critical nature of the IISCCIW's mission, a significant number of faculty members, department chairs, and deans from several universities (so far in the U.S. and Iran--to start with) have expressed active interest in participating in this international undertaking; Please see the “Who we are” page of this website for much more information.

The IISCCIW's Temporary/Interim Organizational Funding Arrangements

The State of Arizona-based [registration/file number 1043038-9] tax-exempt 501-C-3 [IRS identification number 77-0598700] U.S. non-profit organization or NGO, the Universal Coalition for Interfaith and Intercultural Knowledge and Action (UCIIKA), founded in 2002 also by this writer, namely, Moji Agha, A.K.A. Mojtaba Aghamohammadi (its President), has accepted to be the “fiscal agent” for the IISCCIW on a temporary/interim basis, until such time that its organizational “basing” arrangements are finalized.
